35 dogs have been rescued from a puppy mill operation in Georgia. The dogs are now under the care of Noah’s Ark animal Sanctuary in Locust Grove. The dogs were found when authorities were called to the house on an unrelated charge. owners Todd Porterfield as well as Marianna Lord have been charged with several counts of animal cruelty as well as failure to immunize.
The dogs were in such bad condition it’s going to be a few months before any type of of them are offered for adoption. a few of them are going to have their teeth taken out. The district attorney’s office is looking at the possibility of charging Porterfield as well as Lord with extra charges.
