You may or may not be wondering why I am posing next to this toy. I’ll tell you the reason: tomorrow is Teddy Bear Day. Teddy bears are adorable as well as cuddly, however they’re not all THAT great. I’ll tell you why…

Who needs a stuffed animal when you’ve got a real, online warm furry pal who would like some additional cuddling? I took the liberty of composing a poem so I might share my thoughts with you. I hope you enjoy it!

You’re Not So Great

Teddy bear, Teddy Bear, you’re not so great
You’re awfully tiring as well as your fur is fake

I’ve got loving eyes for my mom
Your eyes are buttons as well as they’re stitched right on!

I can purr as well as I’m tons of fun
You’re still as a statue, cannot walk cannot run

I’m full of like as well as other great stuff
You’re full of wool as well as sawdust as well as fluff

Take me house as well as I’ll provide you my trust
Give you a home, you’ll just gather up dust

My advice to you on Teddy Bear Day tomorrow? Kick that toy to the curb as well as snuggle as much as your own cuddly dog or feline instead.

Ps: If you do not have a dog or feline of your own, it is understandable if you’d like to hug a Teddy bear tomorrow. I will make an exception.
