Since Thanksgiving is just a few days away, I thought I would spend a little bit of time thinking about all the things I am grateful for, because I realize that I am a very lucky cat. There are lots of cats that don’t even have a home of their own, so the first thing I am thankful for is having a home with someone who loves me, a soft bed upon which to lay my furry head, and plenty of delicious food to fill my belly. I am also grateful to have a toybox filled with fun toys and a pantry stocked with plenty of cat treats.
Here are some Thanksgiving decorations that were set out in my home this week. In case you cannot tell, these pumpkins and this turkey are not real! I’m thankful that I get to have a scrumptious dinner with extra treats for Thanksgiving. In honor of the holiday, I’m planning on choosing a can of turkey cat food this Thursday…real turkey, not a stuffed one like this.
I am only a tiny bit thankful for my brother, Harley. mostly I’m just grateful when he leaves me alone and doesn’t spoil my good Times.
I am also thankful for any holiday that involves extra food. Let’s eat!
What are you thankful for this year?
